Terms and Conditions

Your provisional booking will be held for 10 days, while you complete, sign and return the booking form, together with a non-refundable deposit of 50% per person.

Booking Forms:
Your booking will not be confirmed until we have received a completed and signed Booking Form together with the appropriate deposit. The lead angler will be the person signing the Booking Form and is assumed to have full authority of all the other people on the Booking Form, and to have accepted the terms, conditions and rules stipulated by Winton's France.

The full cost of the holiday and balances due will be shown on your booking confirmation (subject to error).

Balances must be paid no later than six weeks prior to departure. If payment is not received by the due date, Winton's France reserve the right to cancel your booking and the cancellation charges as details herein will be applied.

Late Bookings:
Late bookings may be available from time to time, payment should be made in full at the time of booking.

Changes and Cancellations:
If you need to make any changes to your booking, please advise Winton's as soon as possible in writing and they will endeavor to oblige.

We do not make any charges for changes, but your deposit is not refundable if you cancel.

If you cancel the booking after the final balance has been paid the following scale charges will apply. These charges are to compensate us for not being able to re-sell your cancelled booking. Your cancellation must be given to us in writing and will take effect from the date we receive your notification.

Winter Bookings:
Winter bookings could well be subject to weather conditions. It is therefore strongly recommended that you telephone our office 2/3 days before departure to check on the local forecast. If, in the event that the lake is frozen and a thaw is unlikely you will be given the opportunity to cancel the booking, book alternative dates or receive a full credit. However should the lake freeze 24 hours after your arrival, no credit or refund will be given for the aborted visit.

Travel:
Your travel to the port of departure is your responsibility and we accept no liability for any delay, which results in you missing your transport and/ or delaying the start of your fishing holiday. We accept no liability for curtailment of your trip due to any delay up to the port of departure. Failure to inform us of any nonappearance will be taken as a cancellation and the appropriate cancellation charges will apply as shown above.

We accept no liability for any delay in your channel crossing to or from the U. K., caused by adverse weather conditions, rescheduling of the timetable by the ferry/tunnel/port authorities/or mechanical breakdown, strike or otherwise.

Alterations to your Booking:
All the details contained herein are believed to be true and correct at the time of publication of any brochure, flyer or advertisement. However in the event of any changes we shall endeavor to advise you before your departure. In the event of a significant change, we reserve the right to offer an alternative date, an alternative venue, or the option for you to cancel and any monies paid by you returned.

Force Majeure:
Winton's France accepts no liability nor is compensation paid due to cancellation, delay or curtailment of your fishing holiday, due to circumstances beyond our control. These circumstances include war, threat of war, riot, civil strife, industrial dispute, terrorist activity, natural or nuclear disaster, fire, adverse weather conditions, flood, or any other event or circumstances which could not be foreseen or avoided, even with all due care.
